Director - Corporate Investments
Ali Al Daftari is Director, Corporate Investments for Shoaibi Group. His responsibilities include investments, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate joint venture development and implementation.
Previously, Ali was Chief Representative of LGT Group, where he was responsible for LGTs private wealth management and institutional activities in the Arabian Gulf. He also held senior positions with Merrill Lynch, the Carlyle Group, and operational roles at Atos Origin, a publicly-listed international IT services company, and Gulf Resources, a private company active in the upstream oil and gas, and natural resource mining sectors.
Ali began his career in 1992 with Lehman Brothers Inc. (New York), as a Corporate Finance Analyst in the High Yield Banking and Financial Restructuring Group.
He holds a B.B.A. in Finance, Cum Laude from Cox Business School, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas.
